my story
Once upon a time I saved up all my paper route money, bought a guitar and saved more for a lesson. Went to the neighbourhood guitar god, picked up the guitar and held it in the way that felt most naturally to me and being left handed he looked at me and said, "You got it upsidedown and backwards; here's your money back, go home". Someone should have mentioned jimmi hendrix to us both but it was enough for me to wait another thirty years before I picked up a guitar again. I'd been working as a drummer for a while and hated that it wasn't a guitar the whole way.
I'm 55 years old now, and I've worked really hard to get where I am today. I'm a player and I want to be better. I work many hours each day. I have theory and an understanding of guitar music. I've performed once with guitar in hand. I learned something about the power you can excersize with tension and release that night....one song they let me in on, one intro, solo and outtro. I got them to hold their collective breath until I let them breath with my last note...
I want more of that...

Richard, get all you can!!! That's the kind of stories I like to hear and I want to assist you in anyway I can. One day I hop we can meet you in person and get you up on sage to play one more song and relive that power, passion, and intensity! -=D=- -
